Dr. G.A. Anggara Kasih brings more than 30 years of experience in environmental engineering, climate adaptation and sustainable development across Indonesia, Japan and the Netherlands.

 

Her work combines environmental assessment with practical project implementation. She has contributed to climate vulnerability and adaptation planning, environmental impact analysis, water and coastal systems, sustainable aquaculture, flood risk and technical feasibility. Her experience includes assignments with the Asian Development Bank, USAID and JICA, as well as work with Indonesian ministries, local authorities and communities. As National Climate Change Specialist within the GEF/ADB-supported Coral Triangle programme, she contributed to participatory climate vulnerability assessment, resilience planning and locally implemented adaptation measures.

 

Dr. Anggara Kasih holds a Doctorate in Environmental and Life Engineering from Toyohashi University of Technology, Japan, and has an academic research background in environmental modelling and coastal systems.

At Emerald Advisory Indonesia, she leads the Indonesia-side climate and environmental capability, supporting environmental assessment, climate risk and resilience, project readiness and the translation of international requirements into locally workable implementation.

Robert Picauly is Founder & Managing Partner of Emerald Advisory Indonesia and an investment, governance and strategy professional with a background spanning institutional asset management, private markets and strategic advisory.

 

He has held senior roles at APG Asset Management and NN Group, working with multi-billion-euro portfolios across asset allocation, infrastructure, impact investing and sustainable investment. His work focuses on investment readiness, capital allocation and strategic decision-making where financial, commercial, regulatory and governance considerations interact.

Robert holds a Master’s degree in Finance from the University of Amsterdam and pursued further executive education at MIT, Harvard and Oxford. He is affiliated with the Finance section of the University of Amsterdam and serves on the Editorial Board of the VBA Journaal of CFA Society Netherlands.

 

Through Emerald Advisory Indonesia, he applies this perspective to CBAM, EU market access and investment readiness, helping companies, investors and project developers turn complex cross-border questions into investable and executable decisions.

Robert van Zwieten is a senior global executive with nearly four decades of experience in global finance, emerging markets, and sustainable development. Holding law degrees from Leiden University and Columbia Law School, and an MBA from the University of Chicago, he has worked across six continents.

 

He is a Founding Partner of Route17, a boutique blended finance advisory firm. He is also a Fellow of the Climate Policy Initiative, Ambassador of the World Benchmarking Alliance, board member of several companies and a bank, and investment committee member and advisor of several investment funds in Asia and Africa. He is a Research Fellow of the Transition Investment Lab at New York University Stern School Abu Dhabi and has co-authored articles about sovereign wealth funds and sustainable investing.
 
Robert was the President and CEO of EMPEA (renamed GPCA), the global industry association for private capital in emerging markets, representing an aggregate $5 trillion in AUM. Before this, he served as a Director - Private Sector Capital Markets at Asian Development Bank. This followed more than two decades in senior executive positions in global financial markets in Europe, the United States, and Asia, with firms such as ABN AMRO Bank (Head Global Clients Asia), General Electric (Regional and Global Treasurer), Lehman Brothers (CAO), and Singapore Exchange (CFO).
